Born and raised in Los Angeles with a strong passion for design, music, sports, film, and photography. I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. After graduating, I began working in the marketing industry, but quickly found myself operating in a few different roles. I would eventually become an assistant designer, designing and managing the company’s web, social media, and email presences as well as serving as an in-house photographer, retoucher, and editor. I was eventually promoted to design specialist, where I was also tasked with managing the company’s and partners’ visual footprints editorially, digitally, and in various other print formats.
After five enlightening years, I left that job to take a travel break, setting off for Europe. I backpacked through seventeen countries over three months and had a mind-expanding experience. Shortly after I travelled to Australia & New Zealand for three weeks. When I returned, I began to question if my work experience was better suited for marketing or design. I came to the realization that I wasn’t all that interested in continuing in the field of marketing. I wanted to explore a career utilizing my strengths as a graphic designer.
With that illumination, I enrolled in the Design & Communication Arts program at UCLA Extension, where I’m currently in my final quarter and expecting to complete the program in March 2025. I’m excited and eager for this new course I’ve charted for myself and I'm eager to get to work!
