Westime is a chain of luxury watch retailers in Southern California. In 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was working for the luxury watch retail chain who, like many others, had to shut their doors. Due to contractual restrictions from the supplying watch companies, they couldn't sell products online, effectively cutting off their ability to make money. The company chose to pivot to selling pre-owned watches, which didn't have any sales restrictions.

STRENGTHS
THE PROJECT
The company tasked me with photographing and retouching their collections and prepare them for e-commerce and social media. Over the course of 3 years I photographed hundreds of watches, honing my craft as a commercial product photographer and retoucher. Once the photographs were finalized, they were then prepped for e-commerce, social media, and e-mail marketing.
THE GOAL
The target was simply to replace the lost revenue stream of shutting down their retail stores. This new sector of the business generated millions of dollars in revenue for the company, helping to keep the company not only afloat, but wildly profitable. The foray into the secondary watch market was so successful that they were able to open a dedicated store on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills.
